ヨーガン・レール「プラスティックゴミのランプ」
テキスタイルデザインの世界的デザイナー、ヨーガン・レール氏が石垣島の海岸に漂着するプラスチックゴミを めて作ったプロジェクトはスウェーデ Artipelag、東京 現代美術館、十和田市現代美術館、KYOTOGRAPHIE、 沢21 世紀美術館 など様々な場所で展示され環境問題、リサイクル、そして新しい美の創造の観点から世界的に注目を浴びました。 行燈は漂着ゴミをスタンド照明に作り上げる設計・製作協力をさせていただきました。
Jurgen Lehl “Lamps Made of Plastic Waste”
“Lamps Made of Plastic Waste” which Jurgen Lehl, an internationally acclaimed designer of textile design, has made by collecting plastic waste that has drifted off the coast of Ishigaki Island. The lamps were exhibited in Artipelag in Sweden, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Kyotographie, Towada Art Center, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa and others. The project attracted worldwide attention in the aspects of environmental issues, recycling and creation of new beauty. Miyako Andon collaborated in designing and manufacturing the lamps with drifted waste.
奥の細道330 年 記念キャラバンの行燈
2019 年は俳人松尾 蕉の奥の細道紀行330 年目にあたり、奥の細道ゆかりの33 市が連携して記念事業を実施しました。奥の細道むすびの地、大垣市ではPRキャラバン隊を派遣しましたが、そこで使われる行灯の製作を弊社が協力しました。
“Oku no Hosomichi” 330th Anniversary Caravan Lamps
The year 2019 marks the 330th anniversary of a poet Basho Matsuo’s travel journal “Oku no Hosomichi” and 33 cities related to the journal collaborated to organize a commemorating event. Ogaki City, the final destination of the journey, has dispatched the PR caravan squad and Miyako Andon has produced the lanterns for them.
吉田五十八のあかり復刻
数奇屋建築を独 に進化させた建築家、吉田五十八が自ら設計した建築のためにデザインした照明器具はその美しさで定評があります。弊社は一般社団法人 山際照明造形美術振興会の復刻事業に参加し、当時の技術を用い、正確な復刻を実現しました。
Reproduction of Isoya Yoshida’s Lamps
Isoya Yoshida is an architect who evolved Japanese ‘sukiya’ architecture and also designed lamps for his own architecture.
These lamps are praised for their beauty. Miyako Andon has participated in the reproduction project orchestrated by Yamagiwa Art Foundation and made the accurate reproduction with the technique of the time.
